DUBLIN TAXI & SPSV
SPSV test Dublin: build a usable mental map of the city.
Dublin Area Knowledge is not just a list of names. Learn important locations by neighbourhood, major road, transport connection and nearby landmark, then combine that with separate Industry Knowledge revision.Checked against current official Irish information: 9 September 2026Build Dublin knowledge by category
The revised NTA Area Knowledge scope includes major transport hubs, hospitals, third-level institutions, tourist attractions, sports and entertainment venues, well-known hotels and restaurants, motorways, neighbourhoods and important city streets.
A useful study method is to group places geographically and by type. For example, learn a hospital together with its district, the major road serving it and one nearby landmark rather than memorising the name in isolation.
Separate learning from testing
TPI's free Study Material is for reading and understanding. Normal Practice requires Submit before the teaching response appears. Smart Practice is deliberately fast: tap an answer, see Correct or Wrong and move on. Mock Tests do not teach per question during the test.
Use official information for the actual licence
TPI prepares learners; it does not issue the SPSV licence or take the official booking. The NTA remains the authority for test booking, official rules, licensing requirements and the current Driver Entry Test format.
